Perry (Ray) & Patsi Shaw
Perry L. (Ray) Shaw was a founding member and provided initial startup funding for NBRI and remains actively involved in its planning, activities and support. He holds a B.S. Geological Sciences degree with Honors from the University of Texas at Austin (76). He began his career as a petroleum geologist in the corporate world and the past 25 years as Trustee of Coastal Management Trust, acquiring and managing thousands of oil and gas properties across 15 states.
Matt & Hannah Brouwer
Matt Brouwer is one of the founding members of NBRI and continues to serve on the Board of Directors. He is a JUNO, CSMA and Covenant award winning singer/songwriter originally from Truro, Nova Scotia, Canada, with more than two decades of hit songs. While living in Houston, Texas he formed his own label called Black Shoe Records and released a total of 7 album projects. Today, Matt is married and he and his wife, Hannah, have 3 young children. Matt and Hannah first met while on a mission trip to Guatemala where Hannah’s parents operate Adonai International Missions in the small town of Canilla. Matt currently serves as Director of Worship Arts at Crandall University. Moncton, New Brunswick, Canada.
